Since 2013, Karen has run a boutique communications consultancy grounded in her signature Communication That Sings™ approach, which brings together her unique experience as a journalist, publicist, speechwriter, and singer.

Karen has collaborated with several nationally recognized companies, universities, and nonprofits, as well as numerous entrepreneurs and small businesses. Her clients have included the University of Pennsylvania, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the Philadelphia Orchestra, the National Constitution Center, and Core States Group. Karen has also been a featured presenter at global conferences including the Professional Speechwriters Association World Conference and the International Association of Business Communicators, where she served as the closing keynote.

As the founder of the media and mentorship platform She Rocked It, Karen has interviewed over 80 trailblazing leaders and entrepreneurs, revealing the real stories behind their success. A creative entrepreneur for over a decade, Karen regularly speaks and mentors others on launching their own dream businesses.

Karen is proud to serve as an adjunct member of the faculty at Temple University's Klein College of Media and Communication, where she teaches on media entrepreneurship.
